Rev'd Jayne Webb – Minister

I am privileged to serve as the minister of Tewkesbury and Apperley Methodist Churches, where my passion is helping people discover the love and presence of God in everyday life.

Whether someone has been part of the Church for many years, is exploring faith for the first time, or simply looking for a place of welcome, my hope is that they will find here a community where they are accepted, valued and encouraged to grow.

Tewkesbury and Apperley are two very different churches, each with its own character and gifts, yet both share the same commitment to worship, prayer, service and hospitality. Together we seek to be an inclusive Christian community, celebrating the diversity of God's people and serving our local communities with compassion, generosity and hope.

Alongside my local church ministry, which also includes Bishops Cleeve and St John's Methodist Churches, I serve as Superintendent Minister of the Gloucestershire Methodist Circuit. Some of my greatest joys, however, are the simple ones: leading worship, walking alongside people through the significant moments of life, and creating spaces where faith can be explored honestly and without fear.

You will always be very welcome at Tewkesbury or Apperley, and indeed at any of our circuit churches. Whether you come regularly or are simply curious, we look forward to meeting you.

My own spirituality is rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition, which teaches us to listen with the ear of the heart and to discover God's loving presence in all of life.
