The Green Group

Meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10:15 a.m.  at  TMC.   

The Green Group (was known as  'Viriditas').

Viriditas comes from St Hildegard of Bingen, one of the great medieval Christian mystics. For Hildegard, the term Viriditas is the divine force of nature which she saw as the greening power bringing life, energy and healing.

Our Green Group monthly meetings will explore all aspects of green activities, engaging in Eco projects within and beyond our church.

From practicality to spiritually we will engage in discussions and activities that promote the health and well being of our planet. We will ensure we play our part in caring for the planet: discussing creation spirituality, science and theology, Celtic and mystic perspectives on Creation.

It is intended that we invite speakers, engage in activities and generally promote a healthy approach to our role as stewards of the created world.

All are welcome! Just turn up bringing with you any ideas or thoughts on specific areas of interest or projects you are already involved with.
