The table top market was a gerat sucess. We made over £700!

Many of you are aware that several members of our church are celebrating significant numbers this year, and this seems like a good excuse for a party.

So we are holding an Afternoon tea party on Saturday 22nd July

To which all are invited but particularly those with a big birthday - and also any of their families who might like to join us.

Birthdays ending in 5 or 0 are the special ones! More information nearer the time but do put in your diary.

Tickets avaliable are from the stewards from the 5th January. Cost £12.

Sunday 20th December

Start the Afternoon with Mice pies and fruit punch at 3:00 pm

At Stratford Bridge (near Upton Upon Severn)  on  Saturday 14th June at  3:00 p.m.

To assist with catering please sign the list in the vestibule if you would like to attend and add any dietary requirements.

There will be no charge but you are encouraged to make a donation towards church funds.

I have booked a further “away” day at Holland House on  Wednesday 13th August  and will include lunch and morning and afternoon refreshments.

Holland House is a beautiful Christian retreat centre in Cropthorne.  (About 30 minutes from Tewkesbury).

It would be helpful to have an idea of numbers as we have to pay a deposit per head and I don’t want to overestimate.

I appreciate that this may be holiday time for some. There is no obligation at this stage but if you think you would like to go could you please put your name on the list in the vestibule.

We won’t be in a position to subsidise this next year so the cost is likely to be about £40 per head.  Jean

Was enjoyed by approximatly 60 people.

We have our Festive Chirstmas coffee morning, with micepies & cakes with Traditional carols.

 This was a very popular time. We are delighted to announce we rasied the sum of £394 was raised for church funds

We would like to have a few of the usual stalls – cakes, books, craft, gifts/new pre–loved, tombola etc.

Hopefully we will be able to get several out on the front lawn.

If you are able to help with a stall please can you sign the list in the vestibule, also help to set up and clear away and to serve tea and coffee.

Donations for any of the stalls would be appreciated and can be left with Stewards any time. There is generally a good foot- fall on this particular weekend so worth making the effort to put on a good show!

“A Grand Night for Singing”- thanks to ticket sales and donations an amazing amount of just under £375 was raised for two Mental Health charities.

In a time of simplified headlines, this is a vital opportunity to hear a nuanced, compassionate reflection on the "way of peace" from someone at the centre of the situation.

Da Capo's Afternoon Programme

About the Da Capo Quartet 

Alumni of Cheltenham Vocal Academy, the Da Capo Quartet comprises Emily Campbell (soprano), Katherine Cox (mezzo), Julian Martin (tenor), and Alan Craig (bass).

The four consolidated their musical association with successive successful appearances at Cheltenham Literature Festival. Their recent performances at St Stephen's Tivoli, St Mary's Charlton Kings, Isbourne Arts Centre Winchcombe and Cheltenham Playhouse Theatre have all been very well received.

They will perform popular solos, duets, trios, and quartets from well-known composers including Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Beethoven, Rossini and others.
