The Tewkesbury and Apperley churches reach out to the community through social events, coffee mornings and charity work.
We are always pleased to see visitors.
If you are visiting us for the first time we have a children's corner with books and toys, designed to keep babies and very young children happy while their parents participate in worship.
You are welcome to stay after the service for tea or coffee and a friendly chat in the hall.
We welcome Clair Prosser as our Family Outreach Worker.

Clair will be supporting existing groups, Monday Minis and Messy Church, as well as working with us to bring new ideas and families into the Church Community.
You can contact Clair by email or telephone 01684 291101.

Our first Messy Church was held recently and was based around the story of the 'Feeding of the Five Thousand'. There were lots of creative activities; music and sound effects, drama, scenery painting, biscuit icing, cooking, basket making and other crafts for young children. There was a happy and joyful atmosphere with adults and children all working on these activities. We had a play area for the under four year old's. At 4.15 all the groups came together and the drama group re-enacted the story using the sound effects and music, baskets and the scenery that the groups had made. We sang a couple of songs and thought about the story. We all then enjoyed the food that the cooking group had made.
If you have missed this event there are plans for another Messy Church in the future. Watch the notice board for further announcements.

The Monday Minis meets weekly at 10am to 12 noon in the church hall and is a relaxed time when parents or carers can bring pre-school children along for the morning. We have refreshments and play, and recently had a great party where a Jo Jingles representative came along to do some music and movement with the children. We have a good range of toys and people can come along for a chat over a tea or coffee whilst their children play.

The Cafe church services are a different way of having 'church'. People who come along sit around tables to chat over tea or coffee about a certain theme. We often have a speaker and have had some very interesting topics to think about recently including environmental issues, why young people don't go to church (much!) and people talking about creative subjects such as recording music. Sometimes our resident band (Spark Plugs) will play some music as well.
The Tewkesbury chapel stands at the heart of this historic market town, where the main roads meet by the town Cross.
